The redeveloped Little River playground has recently been opened to the public after being closed for a number of weeks while it underwent a facelift.
The new playground caters to a wide range of ages and has a good variety of equipment for children to use and explore.
The are now a couple of picnic table to use and native planting is also being added to the surrounding area to enhance the site.
A big thank you to the team from the Wairewa Community Trust and the Christchurch City Council for undertaking the works. This was long overdue and kids both local and passing though have already been making the most of this improved facility.
